Drillbit- Plagiarism and AI Detection Tool
In keeping with the principles of academic integrity, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) upholds a strict policy against plagiarism, academic misconduct, and the misuse of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in student project reports and faculty research work.
Research works, and project reports are to be submitted via email (librariansac@staloysius.edu.in) in either Word or PDF format.
The document must also include the following particulars:

- Name of the Student/Researcher/Faculty
- Registration Number
- Title of the Project Report/Dissertation/Article/Thesis
- Name of the Department
- Name of the Research Guide
Upon submission, the similarity report will be shared within 3-5 working hours. If the submission is made on a holiday or non-working day, the report will be shared on the next working day.
According to university guidelines:
- The maximum allowed similarity index is 10%, and the AI-generated content score must not exceed 20%.
- A document can be submitted for plagiarism checking up to three times; any further submissions will incur additional charges.
